By the way, William Gurnall's The Christian in Complete Armour (use the British spelling) can be downloaded for free at Google Books. (The book is also in print at Banner of Truth Press.) I consider this book to be the great masterwork of Puritan spiritual literature; I am not alone here. Many have stated that only the Bible itself is more important. Need a good church, search: Anglican Orthodox Church (my favorite) or Orthodox Presbyterian Church, or Dr. Beeke's church must be good, too.
This is an excellent sermon. I do not understand the criticism of kneeling to receiving the Lord's Supper, something that not all Puritans disagreed with. Moments latter, he twice refers to William Gurnall, author of the Christian in Complete Armour. Gurnall was an Puritan who chose to stay within the C of E. He likely had little problem with kneeling to receive communion. Not all puritans left C of E on Black St. Barth's Day.[Scriture requireth not sitting, standing or kneeling.]
