Nice little axe and you can find it for $20. Im no expert thrower, but every time I throw this thing it sticks. When it hits, the blade rings like a bell.

This axe is so much fun! I take it camping with my friends. Effective even in hardwood. The opposite side sticking is awesome too. It works really well for learning how to throw an ax and is very forgiving. I don't like to throw my laguna too much because it was $100. So this works well.

No handle break yet (and it's taken tons of punishment) and the blade is still straight after hitting rock, dirt, hardwood and my neighbors house. He came over and threw it after he found it!

one important thing about these axes is that they are very sharp, extremely sharp, but then again, the fact that the handle and blade is not a one piece is a disadvantage, because they break easily ( I have seen that happen).

Theres alot of different cold steel weapon testers each has their own expertise, This guy is only in the throwing weapons section. I don't think they would fire such a great axe thrower.

great axe thrower? you can learn to throw a small home depot one sided axe like this if you spend a couple of days camping in the woods.

And I would suspect that special throwing axe like the ones in the video are even harder to throw.

I just played with my new one tonight! SO awesome. Sharpen up the top tips and it goes into the hardest hardwood. I have beaten the crap out of the handle and it's still gravy.

i love double edge axe but i did some plan for a disc blade atache like an axe to an handle and plus tose grouve you did along the edge is perfect it give strenght to the blade and prevent suction and help the release of the blade hey nice job with the axe i should do one has soon i rebuilt my litle forge that my land lord juste took apart because of fire hazard ... he was just jalous for sure hihihi

@leeham991 Well, for what it's worth... I broke the ash handle on a Cold Steel short assegai spear yesterday. I wasn't using much force either (testing the blade's cutting ability on a piece of soft wood.) Maybe I got a lemon?
