How did you connect your sound? I have an Epson Powerlite 8350, but there is no way to connect sound through it. It turns out I have to connect the source to the sound directly.
Looks awesome! How large is the picture you are throwing? I'm looking to go up to about 105" - is the video showing an image that is larger or smaller than that?
I heard that if the main use is for gaming then don't use projector as it will "seriously reduce lamp life" (Best Buy told me this). As my media room is mostly used for XBOX gaming, I'm a little concerned. Do you have any views on this?
@Picto2000 It's a bit silly. Your projector has no idea that you're playing a game on it rather than watching a movie, TV show, or viewing still images. Lamp usage will depend on brightness settings and, to an extent, the colors of the content you are viewing. But gaming won't use the lamp any moreso than anything else, and you have just learned to not listed to the dudes at best buy.
I was talking about terminator movie... there are no black bars on the game because its 16:9 aspect ratio... Terminator movie is 2:35.1 aspect ratio and i can't see any black bars. lucky you man! i wish you a long long bulb life bro!
@himmania actually, i think it just came in the mode from netflix! cause i didn't change the signal or display mode at all, and the black bars are not on the monitor or the projector. netflix was being played from 2 xboxes at the same time to give a comparison.
