@josequeervo Cheers pal, but I was responding to someone on the next page of comments (before YouTube made responding more reliable) who said they had seen Duncan from Snuff filling in on the drums.
This brings back memories, it sucks Lance died. Cringer and J church were awesome. I wish more people knew about them. Lance was such a great songwriter.
Man i remember J Church putting a new full lenght like every month, it was crazy i would go to the record store and there it was something new from J Church.
J Church with Duncan on drums - holy shit!!! I'd have killed to see that! Do you remember if they did Nostalgic for Nothing? Today something made me want to listen to Panama, so put it on and thereby started a trip down memory lane leading to this search on YouTube. Didn't know Lance had died. RIP fella - you were one of the scene's enigmas. God bless.
i cant believe Lance died. the last time i spoke with him was during a Seam show down in LA somewhere way back in 94'.. RIP, he was one helluva guy..:(
saw them in a roomfull of teenage phx punx who didn't believe it was j church setting up (guess they didn't look punque enuf). till lance started singing, then it was obvious he was THE GUY on the records. before we broke up in 2006, my last band threw together a cover of bomb (which i got to sing) but never played it live. that's ok, somewhere there's a band learning those chords right now. you were one in a million, thanx lance. any more j church vid out there?
Man, I've been missing him. What's life without that brand new J Church 7" or LP to look forward to? Cringer/Ramones/J Church have been my 3 favorite bands since the late 80s. Now they're all gone. Maybe punk really is dead.
I will miss Lance, I never met you, but I spent many of hours blasting my ears with headphones (to the the tune of J Church and Cringer) - cutting lawns to you music !
Lance lives in every d.i.y. release
we'll never forget you

Are you sure this was in Winston Salem? I don't remember playing there. Could this be August 16, 2003 in Chapel Hill? April 15, 2004 in Raleigh?
Anyway I have a decent DVD copy of the show we did in April of 2004 in Atlanta if anyone wants one.
