I flew BA001 in Sept 1999 , I was lucky to be in the same seat this was vid was taken from for take off and landing at JFK . I was Qantas airline staff , This vid brings back those great memories . It was one of the best 3.5 hrs of my life . thanks for the memories Concorde and Alf .
great video of a great airplane - an experience nobody will ever have again! I was lucky to experience a r/t to Paris on AF on their Concorde back in 2003...and it was the experience of a lifetime!
I always thought that on Concordes the pilots said something like "Full power in 3...2...1...now" and then they push the throttles all the way forward.
Nice but would have been much better if you captured other part of the cockpit during acceleration... (like the hands of the Pilot pushing the throtlle...)
Pale???----you obviously haven't seen ME then after the glorious weather we had in April here--lol,lol!!!!---anyway,what's that got to do with the video???!!--LOL!!!
This truly was the extinction of a very beautiful "bird"---know what,though?????--I honestly think it will yet fly back to us in the future--truly,I do--it was too lovely to lose forever-- xxx
atjarks you idiot, this has nothing to do with london or england. It is about the most beautiful plane ever made. Losing it from the skies has taken us a step backward.
lol... there's nothing quite like a bad loser, didn't fully understand what you said anyway, must be your inability to use a keyboard. Worth replying just for the comedy value, oh and how's the Falklands? I mean our Falklands... tee, hee
Incredble cockpit takeoff video! Concorde ruled the sky with its lightning speed, flying supersonic for longer periods of time than any other declassified aircraft
This beautiful plane used to fly over my house most days. It looks beautiful from underneath. My dog's eyes would follow the plane, and her ears would be focused on the engine noise which was lagged by about 10 degrees behind the location of the plane. It was funny to watch her confused by the difference between the speed of light and the speed of sound!
Love it, best thing on youtube, but can we have the rest of the flight please? I could easily watch three hours of this! Love that casual 'have we got clearance?' question from the captain. Come on! Rest of the flight please!
