I flew BA001 in Sept 1999 , I was lucky to be in the same seat this was vid was taken from for take off and landing at JFK . I was Qantas airline staff , This vid brings back those great memories . It was one of the best 3.5 hrs of my life . thanks for the memories Concorde and Alf .

@inca7433 desde quando a aviação comercial andou pra trás??? e o Concorde não era bom mesmo, infelizmente!!! muito gastão de combustível, muito barulhento e dava muito problema.... a melhor coisa foi parar de voar, fazer o que??? o projeto não deu certo, acontece... quem sabe em um futuro próximo, quando o combustível não for um dos problemas (pelo menos). não precisaremos pegar um voo 3 horas antes para chegar em Nova Iorque 3 horas mais cedo....

This beautiful plane used to fly over my house most days. It looks beautiful from underneath. My dog's eyes would follow the plane, and her ears would be focused on the engine noise which was lagged by about 10 degrees behind the location of the plane. It was funny to watch her confused by the difference between the speed of light and the speed of sound!

Os pós-combustores são desligados(são 4 botões abaixo dos manetes)e a aceleração reduzida a fim de diminuir o forte ruído dos motores no solo, o religamento só ocorre quando a aeronave está fora do continente e começa a aceleração para romper a barreira do som.
