Yes, I agree. Pogorelich is better. Here, to fast and abuse of the pedal. With Bach and Scarlatti we must avoid the pedal, I think. They had no pedal in their harpsichords and clavichords. With a good touch, we may "sing" without much pedal. And speed isnt allways synonymous of good performing. Sometimes is a trap... We must let Scarlatti breathe. And that is what Pogorelich does.
yep, too fast. Technically amazing (I couldn't do this) but not enjoyable.
