I can see your point, but acting is different. As hot as they may be, you are all just gears in a machine (the machine being the film). Everyone is just trying to get the job done. It's hard to fathom if you haven't done it, but everyone on set is somehow less a person, and more like a prop that you interact with. Just part of the environment...

Plus, with rehearsal, and several takes of every shot, the discomfort goes away.
