I had gotten thrown off at one point and my grandmother refused to let me near a horse. During the time I wasn't riding I had gone through a horrible time of having my grandparents gain custody, switching schools and then a break up. I wanted to quit school, I was done. A couple of days ago, right as I was getting on the back of a horse for the first time in over a year and a half, the lyric "then you stand" started playing on the radio in the barn. If they make a movie about Secretariat, I hope they don't use boring race sequences like this movie did...Secretariat had to be seen in the actual races to see how truly magical he was and why he had the greatest racing moments in history when he won the Triple Crown. Anyone trying to imitate it Hollywood style could NEVER do justice to the real races recorded..it was beyond words what we witnessed...greatest race horse in history is still the irreplaceable, magical Secretariat...
