I've been waiting 9 months since my referral here in Toronto, Canada. I'm 28 and around 300 pounds. Kristie, I am starting this journey too. I have been through the preparation classes required by my insurance, which is basically the psychological counseling. I have a consultation appt. with the surgeon on May 1, 2010, and looking at a surgery date probably in late June or early July 2010. We can do this. I am sure we will wish we did it years ago. You are BEAUTIFUL! It looks like you have a full life - I hope wls helps you become the thinner, healthier you that you're hoping for. The things we enjoy will surely be even more enjoyable when we have lost weight. I don't know about you but I am looking forward to going back to Disney as a thinner person with a new perspective on all those rides! Best wishes. :)
