This exact episode is going to be shown next Monday on OneHD, it's a little strange that they didn't start showing Jeopardy from a more recent season.
I think the new theme would have sounded much better if it matched the musical structure of the original theme (i.e., beginning in F instead of C, and having four main verses instead of two), and if its intro were played twice (the first time in B, the second time in C). Also, the "Think!" theme would have sounded much better if it were played in C and then E flat instead of F and then A flat, and if the final two notes were played in timpani rather than pizzicato strings.
@TubeTech94 because there are two versions of the new theme. The version they used when the theme itself debuted was a "rough draft" version without the electric guitar in the main melodies except near the end if the piece
Is it just me or does it always sound EXACTLY the same when Johnny Gilbert says "This is Jeopardy!"

Best grpahics. Should've never changed them save removing "25th Anniversary" and reverted to the previous theme.

That day was my sister's 8th birthday, and I was 12.

The May 31, 2011 intro of Jeopardy! should have been like this:
Jennifer Najarian, a bookseller from Coplay, Pennsylvania
Matt Larson, a technical support specialist from Denver, Colorado (whose 1-day cash winnings total $5,599)
Monica Iyer, a law clerk from New York, New York (whose 2-day cash winnings total $37,799)

Pretty impressive intro. At first I thought this is from the new theme's debut episode.

@cruiseshipz the theme should have
NEVER been changed in the first place. The 2001 version of the main theme and Think! even go better with the current set.
