When Sleeping Beauty came on I was with my friend and I'm 12 so we were goofing off so I started jumping up and down and making my friend laugh. I was fanning my face and screaming "Oh My GAWD! It's Aurora! They're changing her dress color! I like it better blue!" And my friend was rolling on the floor laughing.

Sorry, I disagree. I think she played this character way too young, and her schreeching and cackles are so shril. She was really good as Sid, but I don't care for her representation of cruella at all

@mousepal1980 What you're saying is true... from the way the cruella piece was performed they meant to cast her so young and they cast this particular girl because of her voice....but they misjudged cruella's age from the movie.... this chick looks like she's in her twenties when the character is probably in her late thirties or early forties

Kinda feel sorry for Prince Phillip in the Sleeping Beauty scene. I mean, he's kind of just . . . there, while the princess is dancing around and calling for the center of attention!

I hate princesses! I think Aurora is one is of Disney's weakest princesses. The whole movie is about the faries and Phillip. The only true princess is minnie mouse!

I wouldn't say Aurora's the WEAKEST princess. But she IS the most stuck-up! Snow White was the most naive, which could translate into her being the weakest. And Cinderella was more of a drama queen.

lol, the only true DISNEY princess, you could say! But you have to admit, Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine weren't so bad. They, at least, had more backbone than their precedents.

Nun-uh! In general I think princesses are way overrated. True, Belle and Jas had some gusto, but I'm on the fence with Ariel. And when I mean "weakest" I'm not really talking about their character, more about their role in their story. If you watch Snow White, it's still about Snow White, but if you watch Sleeping Beauty, she only has a few cameos, but the majority of the movie is about the faries.... My daughters will only be on love with Minnie Mouse... when I have them! : )

The problem is, none of the princesses do anything for themselves! Belle is the only one who ever came CLOSE to saving herself without a prince, and even THEN she was semi in distress while the Beast and Gaston fought over her!

Very true with Sleeping Beauty. Jasmine had a similar problem, but she wasn't supposed to be the main character, anyway.

but Belle's story was different. With the other princesses (save for Jasmine) They were the ones with the problem and enchantment on them, THEY had to be saved. With belle it was the other way aroud, SHE had to save the BEAST from his enchantment.

Belle was the first Disney Princess who wasn't nobility before meeting her prince. Cinderella was the daughter of a lord (since her stepmother was LADY Tremaine)
