Sorry I pressed enter by accident, I was saying nice to know I am not the only 14 year old student pilot! Get in touch with me please we can talk! I live and train on long island new york, nice touch and go!
Yes, in most small, unpressurized airplanes there is a window, or small, hand sized vent, also in most cesuras, there is vents on the top left and right of the windscreen, the right side with a built in thermometer for the outside air temperature. I am 14 and I am training in the 152 the 172 and the 182' 152 is my fav. Nice to know I am not the only 14. Yea
hey im 14 too and im in flight school flying DA20-C1's in northern jersey it seems you took this video a while ago how have you liked flight school? have you done your solo?
I'm 16 and have already soloed so now I'm waiting for my 17th birthday to get my license. So all I can tell you is to stay determined when flying. You will have good days and bad days. Just like in everything else. Good luck
@themusicmastera380 Dosent mean you know what your doing.... PS: Flight Simulator doesnt count. (And if your actually "fly those" tell me whats a pattern an S turn, and a squak code, dont look it up, just straight off your head)
hey guys i m 14 too i am wondering if am i allowed to have some flying lessons in the airport for this kind of airplane ( cessna) because we dont own an airplane . i mean perhaps your uncles has the plane and he gets you inside ..
reminds me of my first landing I was about 15, came in hard on the main gear, I thought I smashed the tail of the plane into the ground! Keep up the lessons you'll be a great pilot!
I just found out that you are in America...With so many young lads these days getting into all sorts of trouble I salute you - fair play to you & Greetings from Manchester, England (UK)
Could anybody tell me the Limits to the 172 Aerobatic Capabilities? I've always wanted to ask the Pilot but it's been a while since I've gone Flying... I know you can do certain banks and pull back to get around 2 Gs or 3 and stalls but anything other than that?
@devildrummerjack Basically I had about an hour of groun training, and then we went to make sure theplane was ok, and start it. (it takes about 15-30 minutes to inspect and turn it on safely). Then, I got to fly around for an hour. Not many thngs go on ecxept turns and descents and ascents. Hope tha helps! :)
Very impressive to be able to fly so well at such a young age. You will not be able to 'grease' them all on but if you can fly to a landing at the correct speed, correct spot and on the centerline it's perfect. No doubt you are headed for a career in the airlines so best of luck.
@Troylling wrong again you can start flight training at any age the flight school is willing to accept ( 9 for me) you must be 16 to solo and 17 to take the FAA written for your PPL (not to mention all the oral, and check-rides)
can you please get your facts right before correcting someone
I wish i could get the same opportunities as you. I have about the same FSX experience as you, and have flown a super cub and a stearman but I can't convince my parents to buy flying lessons. How did you start?
bad landing, u cant put it down right after the numbers, thats when u should be at like 50 feet and u pull ur power out cause u made the runway, then u let it soar until the thresh hold and put it down. If you ever fly into LAX or any other big airport, they will never let you land there again, its for EMERGENCIES only, btw, iam 16 and fly a C206
for some yes, like a 172 is very similar to a 152 or im told even to a cherokee. But flying a 172 probably wouldnt be anything like flying a pitts or a number of other aircraft.
nice bud where is this? i wanna become a private pilot and im about to start my aviation school.how did you fly at this age ? its nice and nice graphics! 10/10
Nice one! Im thinking of having flying lessons, but Im curiouse as to if after the intoductory lesson, more lessons cover everything or are they all the same?
@GIJOE221294 Oh of course they're different, you'll do traffic patterns some lessons, ground ops others, stalls, special maneuvers, and eventually solo and do cross-countries.
Lucky guy. When I was 14 I would watch the Ag Pilots and pretend I was one of them. It was many many years before I got to actually fly! Good luck and Happy Flying!
I had one like that yesterday when the sun was right in my eyes so it was difficult to tell how far I was from the runway...So I pretty much skimmed half the runway and flopped at the end of it lol
@Nnexxxx Not really that bad, cameras are hard to hold steady during landings, the only thing I'd say is that it was a little off centerline. I've done much worse. :)
Fly with your fingertips, no-death gripping haha. And get the plane to the attitude you want with the yoke before trimming. I was bad about the second one.
Well I just turned 15. But I only have like 5 hours because I haven't had a lesson since July. My instructor has been out flying all over the place and I have been gone a lot too. I am looking forward to getting back up in the air soon.
Im also 14 doing it at Retford Gamston UK. Your so lucky mayte im flying an old 60's Cessna 152. Ahh well it does the job gets me hours! Good look gettin your hours and PPL!
find a flight school in your area and ask for prices right now its like 120$ an hour with fuel to rent a cessna 172 and like $80 for a warrior, so flying for like 1.2 hours and .5 hours of ground school all with instruction is like 180$. Im probably getting sponsored into the navy flying club though so i'll be able to rent planes for half the price.
Thanks, actually as long as I'm with an instructor I can fly to gain the proper amount of hours so as soon as I turn 16 I can solo, then I can get my private pilot at 17.
that is soooo cool, i would love to do that. what state did you fly in?

(2) Why do teenagers enjoy to fly high?
(3) Why do teenagers want to become pilots and to control aeroplanes?
