You guys are just wasting money buying g-shock, I tried putting my $15 watch on a boiling pot of water once literally a boiling water and the mechanisms still worked, the outer plastic melted but the electronics still worked, and after that I submerged that same watch on water and freeze it and guess what it still worked, all those tortures test are just marketing to be honest.

@burgos041 The watch I did this video with is still working fine w/ no issues, and didn't have any problems w/ the boiling water or -10F freezer. I would call that a win. Maybe most poeples watches will never approach anything like this, but if a GShock can shrug it off, I would say they are good to go. You would have to buy a lot of cheap watches hoping to find one that works as well. Just buy a GShock and quit worrying about it... :-)

Nicely done tests! Great to see the watch hold up so well. Just a minor question--I can't make out much detail on the face areas surrounding the LCD display. Did the camera just not capture them or did you modify the watch to blacken it out?

It´s funny. I have the two watches shown in this video. I own several Seikos and this one is not the best.This one is 2 heavy, bulky and too inaccurate (It´s automatic). But the casio is just perfect. Everything u need and nothing u don´t. A favourite in any Army.
