believe it or not but to those of you that do not live in oklahoma on may 10th, just this month we had hail larger than this in various parts of our state. some pieces measured over 8in. in diameter and were being pushed to speeds near terminal velocity. if you were to be hit in the head for instance with a piece of hail of that size and at that speed it could/would kill a person.

This storm just missed us by a couple of miles. It went just north of us and we didn't get any hail or even rain. It was cool because the clouds where the hail was took a almost turquoise hue to it. Also the monday before this happened another hailstorm hit just south of us. It's supposed to get bad again today and we might be the bullseye now.
