  • Added to contempt:

The chin will often be thrusted forward, and the eyebrows raised slightly. Lie to me is also my source. Episode.... 2? I think of Season One.

  • guys lets go to all the FOX web sites facebook twitter ever thing and tell them " we want lie to me back" lie to me

  • nice info!

  • are these pics for download?!??!

  • So funny. I'm so out of touch with emotion that when I smile I show contempt, when I'm angry it looks like disgust, when I'm furious it looks like fear. Sadness is my every day face, and surprise is my sex face.

  • @PrankerDemon Did you actually test that in some kind of realistic experiment or just tried faking it in the mirror?

  • @mrkiky I have a fairly large mirror in my room and mirrors all over the place. /narcissist

  • @PrankerDemon yes but you still need to feel genuine emotions not just fake them.

  • @mrkiky That's the point. I feel the emotions, and I've noticed all of them in one of the many mirrors.

  • 1st is true but narrowing of the lips doesn't tell because there is also anger which has a mouth open showing teeth like dogs

  • really great ;-)

  • This is so bad. It doesnt even sound like you KNOW what you're reading off of.

  • thank s alot really good work

  • good stuff thanks.

  • Thank you so MUCH!

  • Nice work....!

  • Very informative. Thank You.

  • the important thing u hav to remeber about tht is tht each of those only last for a quater of a second they ar micro expressions look at Paul Ekmans video about micro expressions nd see if u can spot each of these its a great test to see if ur a naturla like torres from the show :P

  • @Lee27ish Not always. These rly intense ones happen shortly, because they are quickly noticed and fought off, but normally the parts (only lips tighten and eyes glare, raised lower eyelids) happen for even a few seconds. I didn't believe it would be true, but then I went out in the public and saw it all over the people's faces.

  • one sign of sadness was missing. The eyebrows weren't obluiqe.. I guess he couldn't make the motion haha

  • this show is important because its subject is not the lie, but the truth! and we and the world need the truth because the relationships can be more peacefull if people are honest, first with thenselves and so with the others.

  • Thanks very much for posting this. The show is great. Five stars.

  • is lie to me a show based on fact or not

  • Yeah, it is based on fact. Everything Tim Roth's character does in the show is based on the research of a real man named Paul Ekman. You can find his books online.
