This thing must be really dangerous. Motorcycles turn 80% by weight shift and 20% by reverse steering. How the hell this thing turns ? Also really ugly.
i have been a biker for over 48 years , and i would like to see and have one of these here in america , because i wouldn't need any rain gear and i could be just as comfortable on that machine . but i still like my kawasaki 1500 . because i leave all the scrap harleys behind , i love high speeds but i don't like crouch rockets .
It may not be for your traditional biker who would be insulted at the idea, but it certainly has a market somewhere in this day and age. I predict these become insanely popular over the next couple of decades.
Hehe :) That is a very old video. It is Jeremy Clarkston from Top Gear. I am guessing he is about 20 years younger in that video. This is probably from the First top gear series in the early 90s. Fun to watch though.
This vehicle looks awesome! It could easily be the green vehicle of the future. But at 50,000 pounds its price is exorbitant! That price needs to drop by tens of thousands for it to be worth it for the average commuter.
reduces of drag.. good idea.

It looks horribly dorky, but I would probably buy one if I were loaded just for the hell of it. :)

That's not a bike! That's a stinkin' two-wheeled CAR!
For 90 G's, I'd rather driva a Porche! (Or, even better, buy FIVE (count 'em, FIVE) new Harleys! ! ! !)

You have a point...lol
I would do the same and actually customize my Harley.

i loved this thing when i first saw it. It's a shame it never took off.
hitokitty 2 years ago
It has taken off and you can buy one for the low price of $89,750.
1shoegal8 2 years ago
It has taken off but very pricey. If you have about 80K laying around you can get one right now in the US.

absolutely the price is very high and as with most things when they first come out, they are expensive and then forced to lower the price
1shoegal8 2 years ago
Mike the cost in the US is $89,750. It is really priced to high. As with most new products they start out high but end up lower as time goes on.
1shoegal8 2 years ago
Yes, you're right of course. It wasn't my intention to suggest that the price was inflated. I blame the exuberance/stick shock of my initial comment.
I have no doubt part of the price comes from these vehicles being built by hand in a shop by a few hands.
If they could get investment and have these things mass produced these babies could very well be the vehicle of the future. I'd buy one! : )
mikepalomino 2 years ago
@mikepalomino I would buy one too
1shoegal8 2 years ago
Yes he did and I look forward to one day riding one of these

Wow, Jeremy Clarkson crammed in the back of that thing!
