There's like 3 Japanese singers I can think of whos english can actually be understood. Koshi of course, Sho from Galneryus and Toshi from X Japan... Other than that it's pretty hard to find someone in J-Rock with as good english pronounciation as Koshi.
Lol, funny argument..you can't technically graduate as a music producer. You can start out producing unknown artists, maybe you'll get lucky and find the next big thing and BOOM, you're an in-demand producer..but..ya..lol, B'z rule. Ppl really need to stop shoving the fact that hey have an education in to peoples faces. *sigh*
Yeah, whenever someone says "admit you're wrong" it means they have no argument. Every single time, without fail. It's a proven fact. I just really don't feel like arguing with someone that has absolutely no argument - no matter what I say, nothing is going to get through to you. You should probably also learn to use proper spelling and punctuation when you argue online, it makes you look slightly less stupid.
You obviously know NOTHING about the music industry with this crap you are spewing! Also, I never once insinuated that the US music market was superior - I think it's horrible, and the B'z showcase more talent in one song than most American bands do in their entire career. You have obviously been brainwashed to think all of us "bloody yanks" in the states are ethnocentric assholes, but we certainly are not.
They don't have a market because they haven't been exposed!! Markets just don't appear out of nowhere, bands get fans when people hear their music! If more people could in America had a chance to listen to the B'z, they'd have a much bigger fanbase, which is what I was getting at with my very first comment!!
Friction is the first song from the B'z to officially be released in the United States...why is that so hard for you to understand? Uhhh they mentioned it on the B'z website and several other places that it was the first time they were exposing their music to Western markets...obviously it's not their market, or they wouldn't want the exposure. Also, it was the first B'z song to be sold on the American iTunes.
This song is amazing. It's sad that most Americans have never heard their music, and I can't believe they chose to introduce this song to Western audiences on a game such as Burnout: Dominator...This as a bonus song in Guitar Hero III would be extremely fun to play and expose their talents to waayyy more people. what's that "shari"?
christmasjean 2 years ago
@christmasjean
"Shari" means "rice" in Japanese.
And,sometimes in this song, "Shouting out my name" sounds like the words meaning "Shari is delicious" for Japanese. :D

Also, they've only played seven shows in North America in 2003, that had little to no promotion.
