ive got a question of the valves possition according of their ratting for example: ive got two pairs of 6l6 Groove Tube, one pair is from rating 3 and the other pair is from rating 2 so i dont know in what possition should i put them A or B:
Much enjoyed, I learned a lot from your series! Thank you for stressing caution during everything, I feel better about having someone more experienced do the job for me.
@MetalFTWin No. Those are fuses. They protect your machine from power surges. Marshall power amps usually have what looks like a cube with a small slot for a flat head in it inside the circuit board.
So what does the power tube switch on the amp do? Change the plate voltage for different tube types? Also, you were saying volts. Isn't this reading in milliAmperes?
I've been looking for a good tutorial on biasing my amps and it looks like I found it. I just ordered a tool from a guy on Ebay (USA made by him), and am trying to gather as much information about biasing as I can. This video contains everything I need except the exact location of the trim pot. My Musicman amps have 4 power tubes, like the Mesa shown in the video, but the has two trip pots close to one another. One is a tremolo adjust. I'll find out from the MM site. Thanks for the video.
'voltage'? I thought you were measuring current?

I have a Marshall 9100, and on the back it says "Mains Fuse" and "HT Fuse" which has a flat screwdriver slot. Is this the biasing?

@MetalFTWin It's inside the amp. looks like he describes it.

I think you mean milliamps. 35 milliamps of plate current.

well actually the information on your multimeter for biasing is not a volt meter, it is an ampere meter
