christian music is beautiful i'm not taking anything away from it but if they want to sing other types and genres of music i say go for it...they sing beautifully to christian music and i personally love all types of music and think they can and will do a great job in whatever they sing!!!!! keep being great you guys :)

I agree with ashleync29, please do stick with Christ music, God gave ya'll a gift not man, I myself sing and play as well, I told the lord if he would teach me to play the guitar I would only sing his music and I have done that and he has bless me well so please stay with his music.

@tgrh123 There's nothing wrong with singing "secular music" with the gift Christ has given you. You can't play a note on a guitar and call it Christian music or satin's music. There is nothing sinful about music, now lyrics on the other hand can be horrible. But notes, melodies, tones, beats alone can be nothing more than that. Sing what you want to sing and still praise God in everything you do. AND THIS IS NOT A LOW BLOW TO CHRISTIAN MUSIC. I love Christian music.

I "found" Daves Highway during a very difficult time in my life, while battling cancer. Their heavenly voices and gospel songs gave my heart and soul strength, while at the same time their renditions of music from other genres also gave me joy. Their talent has struck me deeply, no matter what they sing.

Canuckken...that really was a judgmental post and I agree with JLenoC6. If you really follow Daves like you say, then you will see several songs like Boondocks and Man in the Mirror that they sing very well. Open your eyes a bit and know that every song won't always fit "your" agenda!

Canuckken.....pathetic post on your part. You would have been standing in the crowd telling Christ he wasn't the Son of God because He ate with the sinners. God gave them a gift and they are using it for HIS glory. You don't reach the sinner only singing in church....although if you haven't repented for your judgmental post I guess they could find at least one at yours.

You guys are great and its obvious with your harmonies that you have tallent. I am however a little confused by this choice of song. When I first began listening to you I loved the fact that you were singing gospel music. I guess I mistakenly took you for Gospel artist but now I see your singing secular music. That is fine if its what you wish to do, I am just not sure what Daves Highway is about. Perhaps its about entertainment and God knows people like to be entertained. All the best.
