  • Love it <3

  • buena interpretacion!!

  • You made me fall in love with classical music once again. This is moving.

  • Thank you Per-Olov, at a hard time you have motivated me to become a better classical guitar player :D

  • i've been learning the first 14 seconds of this for the past two days ._.

  • Only heard one mistake at that last D#, sometimes it sucks having a good ear. Nonetheless, you play this song beautifully. God bless.

  • Brilliant. I could not imagine that a song so simple may sound so nice.

  • what is the guitar ?

  • @B737Man An instrument

  • I would have to say this is one of the best songs to learn if you are in grade 5 or 6 conservatory, I've been playing for two years (and a half I guess) and I'm learning this song at a comfortable rate. I wouldn't advise learning this song if you don't have the technique to bring it to what it's supposed to sound like.

  • Thanks....first piece I ever learned!

    REv 18

  • @goscott4 first piece classical or ever?????

  • @RSorbyGuitars Yes! in 1969 on Los Angeles PBS, Frederick Noad had a guitar course, and after taking every viewer though the basics, this was the first real piece he introduced for us to learn....

  • you, sir, are a very talented man.the way you play is just perfect. I also like how your guitar sounds.i wonder what device did you use to capture the beauty of the sound that it makes.cheers.

  • Excellent ! I was just in the midst of learning this piece when I stumbled upon your recording ; I was very inspired by your interpretation. Thank you !

  • Genial.......simplemente magnifico,que interpretacion y que sonido,todo lleno de sentimiento.

  • It's really kinda easy.....just need to be able to read the music

  • I just passed this song in guitar :)

  • I am a huge fan of Francisco Tárrega, and would love to hear more.

  • como pode uma pessoa (francisco tarrega) inventar uma canção como esta? tão linda e perfeita? só pode ser dom de Deus gente.

  • I'm currently learning this tune. It's much like a slow rag. I like it.

  • Magnifique morceau ! L'interprétation est superbe !

  • nice one

  • this is...brilliant!!

  • still trying my way though Rodrigues Arenas libro 2

    when i reach page 56

    I LL HAVE MY PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @unleashanger NOW i'm at page 56 and blood and thunder rises and souls are shattering

  • How are you getting this amazing level of natural reverb? It's making the already beautiful guitar sound even better.

  • I am trying to teach myself guitar. I want very much to learn this song. My father taught himself by listening to records of Segovia...and he was an amazing flamingo guitarist (my father). Thank you for making such beautiful music...I hope someday to play half as good as you! I wish I could learn from you in person!

  • nice work . it would be lovely if you play capricho arabe .

    thanks

  • wow se gana mis respetos

  • this song is so goddamn hard to learn

  • Perfectly done!

  • Well done AGAIN sir, very well done! Such a joy to listen to. Thank you. :)

  • you are the finest classical guitarist i have seen on youtube! I watch thinking, is he gonna play it right is he gonna get it perfect?! And you always pull through... brilliant. Do you play professionally?

    Per-Olov

  • Thank you! I am honored.

    Per-Olov

  • what type of guitar do you use, it sounds lovely

  • Hi. Thanks for listening. This is not my guitar. It's a student of mine. It is an Alhambra P11. Normally I play handmade guitars by Per Hallgren, Sweden

    Per-Olov

  • ESPECTACULAR..¡¡¡ESO ES TOCAR GUITARRA!!!!

  • Lovely playing! And your videos are a tremendous help to me in learnig classical guitar.

  • That is a great effort! You've played it so well. I listened to 3 of your videos and I must admit I would like to play as good as yourself! I've got to ask you, how much practise do you think is enough to be considered good or beyond that? All the best sir!

    Per-Olov

  • Awesome interpretation!!! Bravo. What kind of guitar support are you using?

  • Thank you. I am happy you like it.

I use a Gitano as support. Great little thing.

    Per-Olov

  • Sugoii....!

  • This is superior performance. I showed it to my friend as example of fairly advanced, yet very short piece, and she told me she doesn't perceive it as advanced -- I think creating this kind of perception is terrific work on your side!

  • Hi there! Thank you for your kind words. I am honored.

    Please keep listening to me.

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • sweet sounds brother

  • @YDG777 I'd say its harder than lagrima.

  • is this song harder or easier than lagrima?

  • @YDG777 Yes it is. At least for me. : )

  • I love your nose :) LoL random right? But seriousely i do :)

  • You, my friend, are a master. One day, I hope to be able to put together as intelligent, interesting, and inspiring an interpretation as you do. Well done.

  • Snyggt Per!

Du spelar både elegant och perfekt.

  • dynamics are awsomeeeee

  • Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, and a bit sad too. Your playing is so perfect...

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • @dabolpantz

you can find it at free-scores. com - as many other classical sheets

  • MR. kindgren can you tell me well see i have this in music notation but the style is in Mazurka can you tell me how mazurka can be interpreted

  • You play really nicely. My question is about the holder you are using. I am trying to locate one of these, or something similar. Can you help me?

  • Hi there. Thank you for your kind comment. I play with a GITANO as support. Great little thing.

    Make a search for it.

    Good luck.

    Per-Olov

  • @moringosi i think its called a thigh rest, and it connects to the guitar with double sided tape, im sure musicians friend has them

  • Hello Mr. Kindgren,

Lovely playing. Do you have a recording of the Tarrega for purchase?

  • Thank you. I have Capricho Arabe for sale as mp3 on my web shop. Not this though.

    Kindly,

    Per-olov

  • i found it very difficult to play so being that ive attempted this song i respect your ability even more

  • beautiful

  • I'm really happy to find this piece. Back in 1970, I was a 17-year-old Chicago-area high school student just learning to play guitar. Frederick Noad's weekly show was running on the local PBS station. He played this in one of the episodes, and it really inspired me to become a better guitarist. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of the song at the time. Looks like it only took me 40 years to find it. :)

  • Thanks so much! Beautiful song wonderfully played. I especially like your videos because I can see your LH chord positions.

    Rick

  • Amazing interpretation and technique. I like how his manual volume control is making the piece sound more beautiful.

  • What happened to the trill at 0.42? too hard to play? ;)

  • Perfect

  • Francisco Tarrega must be proud of you.....

  • you know i am thinking of uploading a video wacthing me playing adelita but when i am looking you playing adelita i think that i am very little infont of you and i dont know if i should upload what do you think?also i am sorry for you father profitfever.when i will upload the video believe it will be a tribute from me to your father

  • like hi :)

im learning this piece and like 2nd part, the one in the key of E major, the parts with the pull ofs an hammer ons r pretty hard, any tips?

  • Dear Per-Olov, will you please also record Tarrega's Pavana at some time?

  • I love this piece and thank you for putting up. My dad was a classical guitarist who died recently. He played this piece regular and it really helped being able to listen to it in the early days. Seems like your one of the only videos that shows both hands up close as well, which is great to see for future self tuition. I'm an amiter myself but i would like to try this, anywhere you can link a good tab for it? Also your a fantastic guitarist who pronounces this piece really nice. Thank you.

  • Thank you. I am sorry you lost your father. It must be hard.

I have the tab on my web shop under arrangements / A-B but I am sure you can find it many other places on the net...

    Good luck!

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • @profitfever c l a s s t a b . o r g is a great site. lots of rare stuff there

  • i cant wait to i play this

  • Wow. Amazing. You inspire me to continue to strive to be a better guitarist. Every time I am learning a new piece given to me from my instructor, I immediately try to listen to your interpretation of said piece. That said, I look up to eventually becoming a guitarist of your caliber :]

  • wow you are very talented! just great,i never heard someone playin' this piece like you do, except of course Francisco.

can you please tell me what kind of strings do you use?

    tnx a lot.

  • Thank YOU! I am happy you like my version.

I use d'addario EJ46 99% of the time. Also on this video.

    Happy playing!

    Per-Olov

  • @AndanteLargo

Hi Mr Andante largo, I have a question for you.: How many time you change this strings d'addario EJ46 (days).

    Regards.

  • Per-Olov, I have a dream... and that dream is to be such a good classical guitar player as you.

  • Hi! Thank you. I am sure if you work on it and really want it, you will be better than me.

    Keep playing! It's the best!

    Stay tuned :-)

    Per-Olov

  • i started learning this piece yesterday :) its well beautifull

  • I don't know how people never heard Tárrega, is the best guitar compositor of anytimes and he intruduced new brilliant sounds which was be abled to play with the guitar. (Excuse my poor English, I'm Spanish)

  • @rabiaahostil Para mi que Agustin Barrios Mangore fue mejor si no lo conoces busquelo por el web y dime lo que piensas. :)

  • Hey Per,

This is a very nice piece :D Tarrega is awesome - and you play the music extremely good, I really like it ^^

I was wondering if you could help me by answering a question :p Is it against the law to record a famous piece, or you know, pieces by Tarrega, Bach, Fernandor Sor and so on, and then upload them on youtube? Are any rights needed?

    Thx :)

  • Hi there. I am sorry for the late reply. I never saw this until today.

No you are free to upload, record or play all the composers you mention here. No problem and no rights needed.

    Good luck!

    Per-Olov

  • bravissimo!

  • Is this song hard to play? I am a intermediate player.

  • Hi there...

Not really if you can play in in higher positions. I would rate it as Intermediate.

    Try it!

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • wow thanks per olov, never heard of tarrega, its beautiful

  • Thank you! I am glad I could introduce Tarrega for you. He has some very nice pieces.

    Kindly,

    Per-Olov

  • You defenetaly feel the Grand Master better than anyone else! So deep and touching!

  • You are so incredible! I absolutely feel the music and the warmth comes through...I can only hope to sound even a tiny-bit like this!!!

  • TheTarrega Pieces are Beautiful and your playing has inspired me to find more of his pieces. Thank You

  • Gosh, I really suck. 2

  • haha i beat u :P

  • Gosh, I really suck.

  • Sound´s beautiful, you have a really bright and clear tone, thanks for showing this video!

  • Delicious. I used to play this piece all the time and now I've forgotten the middle to the end parts. I really love the lighting of this video to display your shadow in the back. Just incredible video overall.

  • Thnaks a lot! I am happy you like my video!

    Please keep listening to me.

    Kind regards,

    Per-Olov

  • I have had the music for this song for a while now and play it about every day. After hearing this version, I think I've been playing it wrong. That, or I don't know how to make it sound nearly as beautiful.

  • Hi there! I am sure you can play is very good. Just remember to focus on the melody! It is very important. ''Sing'' it in inside your head...

    Good luck!

    Per-Olov

  • awesome! i love this song so much....thank u

  • thank you,sir.

  • Excellent, Maestro! I have been playing this pieces for almost 20 years, but I have to admit your performance made it sound new to me again. Love the dynamics. 5 stars!

  • whichs device do you use for record. is it expensive?

  • Lovely tonal variation. Faved :-)

  • Wonderful feeling! When playing this piece I don't imagine Adelita as the "historially correct" combatant, no, I think she was more "lady-like", and today she attends so many musicians you could almost call her a courtesan of guitarists.. Anyway - wonderful piece ;-) .

  • i like that! a courtesan of guitarists...that's great, good comment!

  • I'm a beginning classical guitar player and I feel you should know that you've inspired me to learn both this and lagrima. Your playing is beautiful keep the videos coming!

  • i think its a bigginer song because i just started out and this song was the second my teacher had me learn the first was lagrima

  • I'd say intermediate level. Think Grades 4-5 really.

You start off on the simple Carcassi pieces, they help form the hand.

  • wtf my teacher gave me this song to study for a whole month and I can't even play the first row and I think that his arrangements are ALOT easier than this, so..

Good for you sir for being optimistic!

  • is this a piece for beginners, intermediate, or advanced guitar players?

  • @3money i think it's for intermediate or advanced, a tough one,

  • You play this so beautifully. It's really amazing.

  • Excellent interpretation, very nice sound, who buid this guitar?

    Thanks for share your work.

  • I looooove this! I'm learning this piece now. Your playing is BEAUTIFUL.

  • Dear Per-Olov:

Where can I find the Tarrega's pieces?

  • Hi!

You can find different version on the Internet. I have this version on my web shop at per-olovkindgren(com) . Bothe as sheet music and with TAB.

I hope you will find it and play it. It's a very nice piece.

    Per-Olov
