@steveraz I'll support what he/she said. Less distortion. And this is coming from studio knowledge. If theres a switch, set it towards clean but with enough distortion to match the song, that won't do 100% of a fix so lower the distortion setting on the amplifier. The amplifier gets so loud at points that the fact is the background noise doesn't stay at a constant level which isn't good. I could see that being fine if the song were just getting done but while recording, not a good thing to have.
