I agree asian models are really talented and usually very expressive though in this one it seems they are having too many somber or like non-smiling models anymore. the beauty of a model is in the smile that draws attention to the face..the outfit and makes the over all figure blend well or else she looks like she is uncomfortable or dislikes the outfit she is in. though i supose the face is supose to be non commited look..or neutral look..ect. to be honest a lot of designers make modern art NS

This is true, but a lot of designers don't want there models to smile or really emote, they just believe they are pretty much a walking hanger even though they are beautiful girls.

But it's not the case all the time, look at say, Victoria's Secret runway shows, those girls look like they are having fun! haha

Well, of course. Victoria's Secret isn't high fashion--it's lingerie and swim wear. Said models are completely different in their build; Most high fashion models are extreme ectomorphs while swimsuit models are thicker, curvier, have a meso-ecto body type, and don't look like they're about to break. They're more casual in their work, as well.
