@wakaflockaqueen no you dont have to, it depends on how well your own hair blends with the hair that your using for the sew-in. I relax my hair because i dont have to straighten it as much as when it has grown out - plus when the edges are unrelaxed it looks crazy and untidy (to me). Ive seen a lot of people that are "natural" have this type of sew-in, it depends on your own hair
