i had various feelings when listening to this song. feelings of disgust,hatred,and then fear when i saw the run time was 5 minutes. theres nothing worse than a bad song that goes on and on and on. this is the kind of music the police use to interagate suspected criminals. on the plus side i at least have the perverted pictures to distract me from the awful music. its like putting nudity scenes in a bad horror movie, so at least they got one thing right.if you make a bad song put distractions.

Usually when I'm listening to music, to listen to vocaloid music I have to make a mix of songs that are ONLY vocaloid or else they start sounding strange... But I can listen to a good Meiko song with real artists, cause she fits in with them :3

Meiko can match every vocoloid that's why her duets are better than mainly anything.

She can bring out everything with her voice. I love it when miku and meiko sing together and I love it when Meiko sings with kaito.

I don't even think MEIKO and Kaito really need voice appends. I've heard MEIKO been used in a really good way where she's almost sounded human. I love her voice though and even with Miku's append.. she doesn't need one either, IMO. It's just to make her sound more human but I think she sounds a little bit more like the other vocaloids >w>; LOL MEIKO and Kaito are harder to use and they are. It's hard to get them to sound less robotic but they can still sing pretty damn well.

The reason MEIKO isn't noticed as much [this is just my opinion] but first impressions are everything, and MEIKO's apearance is just to normalish, where as miku, the kagamines, Kaito, luka, gakupo, aren't very normal looking. (some people may say the kagamines look normal, but i have never seen that shade of yellow for hair before) but MEIKO is just as good as a singer as all of them, literally, its impossible for a vocaloid to miss a note unless theres a hacker.

Meiko is never given the attention she should get. Personally (and this is my opinion) miku is overused and doesn't have as good of quality as her former songs. And so true that Meiko should NOT sing this high. This is for all the others mostly but not her.

@reimu9 The producer of the song, Shu-t, originally had planned LOLA for sing this song. He uploaded a preview of the LOLA version, but later on decided to use Meiko. You can probably find the preview on Nico Nico Douga.

I agree, it is very annoying that people always try to make her sing higher things. Although some higher songs have turned out fantastic, like Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder and Just be Friends, most don't really suit her voice. She needs to be used for lower songs more, it sounds great :D

This has to be one of the best arrangement of Meiko's voice I have ever heard. (Another song of the same standard sung by her is 'Yomi Zakura', which is a traditional-style song by Shigotoshite-P that I highly recommend.)

I just got interestet in Vocaloid and tried to find one that has not such a high pitch, there are really a lot of them. would be nice to have more tone variation, and not just charas. don´t get me wrong they do sound different, but most of them seem to be on the same level ... well just my thougt.

actually Meikos voice is far more versatile than Mikus. It's just because the controls were adjusted in the Vocaloid 2 series made Miku easier to control, plus limited her range of styles she can sing (Miku is aimed at anime types songs, while Meiko is made for pop, rock, Rnb and other.
