True story, I was in a band, heard this, played it to the others and we broke up on the spot after 1 listen, we just knew in our hearts if each and every song you write cannot come to within touching distance of this sonic grenade then there's no point even trying. @bigredhittner Thanks. I do remember an early Foo Fighters interview in the press, in 95. The journalist mentioned how some Foo Fighters reminded him of Sugar, to which Grohl replied "I liked Hüsker Dü a lot". Now they are quite away from this kind of sound...

Not only that, but Bob played guitar on the soundtrack to Hedwig and The Angry Inch, starring/directed by John Cameron Mitchell, who also directed "Rabbit Hole".

This song is absolutely ridiculous in it's intensity and I agree, my ears were ringing for a couple days after every Sugar show I saw...rivaled only by The Ramones in my case. I miss the 90's.
