  • Your hair looks beautiful.

    Are you relaxed?

  • you are so cute!! :) Girl, i had this back in the 80s. I did not know hair care so it dried my hair up something horrible. I am itching to buy these again. They are like 40 bucks at Sally i think.. :) I like how you let us know u cleaned the commode. hahah

  • Love the look!!

  • This girl is too cute. I love the entire video. It's exactly what I needed to see. HOW you use them. Thanks for doing this sweetie! Now I will buy one!

  • Love your hair girl!

  • wow the curls are so pretty will but my steam set soon

  • wow. thanks for putting me on to steam rollers. Ive been doing the oldschool rollers adn hairdryer (very time consuming) plus i hear these are much better for your hair. btw love the betty page cut.

  • looks great! i think it depends on how straight your hair is to begin with. i used mine this week (my hair is sorta texlaxed), and mine didn't come out near that pretty.

  • My daughter watched your video. She's 13. She loved the results and went out and bought the caruso right away. Now.... how are you keeping your hair at night? Do you wrap it, roll it?

  • absolutely love it.i love the texture of your hair its still has some kink to it.

  • Wow. Gorgeous results!

  • How much does it cost? I one now!!

  • makes you look old fashion

  • @juicy102495 you are just jealous i bet your are fat too with the nickname juicy

  • i just saw this today when i went in sally's and thought about how this would work...now i want one lol

  • nice job...I may get these. I hear the new model doesnt hold up as well as the older one....just to pass along the info to everyone i got from someone..you can keep the new models running longer if you treat it like an iron, and steam about 2 tablespoons of vinigar in it each month to keep the steam vents clean (of course, dont use the rollers when your cleaning it with the vinigar)

  • OMG LOOKS SO SIMPLE. Sooooo gonna get these! :-)

  • Love this video! Where can you buy these? And do you need to buy more then one set? I've looked on Amazon and it seems most of the time they come only six in a set, and I'm kind of cheap :P

  • That's beautiful. I'm jealous.

  • This will be my third caruso set in 2 years. Any idea on why the system break so quick.

  • this vid is tight, im gna have to try this out

  • wow....I luv it...I have medium length hair, would this look be just as good!

  • WOW thats amazing i know it's hard to deal with african american hair but yours looks so good i'll have to tell my sista friends :)

  • ahhh too cute! :) thanks for the how to!

  • Pretty girl! Great explanation! Beautiful hair. Thanks.

  • i love your hair.! i have those rollers but my hair is shoulder length. will it look bad b/c my hair is shorter?

  • beautiful hair

  • you looks soooooooo much like tyra banks soooooo pretty

  • Cute personality! :) And I'm glad I found a video with someone showing it with clarity. Thanks so much! Looks great!

  • ur videoz are fab! very informative hope u continue them, went to the beauty supply store a mth ago in search of thermal rollers (after i saw one of the real housewives of orange county using them and her hair was beat!!) but they didnt sell them, cant wait to get them, im totally n2 hair, fashion and makeup now that im old enuff 2 hit the party/club scene!! so i luv all ur easy, do it urself videoz on beauty

  • Beautiful set...cannot wait to use my Caruso system!!

  • Thank you for your video. It's nice. I love caruso, it indeed holds the curls. I cannot hold with curling irons, hot rollers, etc. But caruso does hold for days. But I have a problem with caruso that gorgeous curls, but if I touch putting my fingers through or if I use the pick comb, oh my God, it's a big disaster, it gets extremelly frizzy. A freak frizzness. Wha am I doing wrong. I tried to use paper, but still. Please help. Otherwise I have to return the caruso.

  • Nice job. Is your hair relaxed? I had these rollers "back in the day" (when they first came out, lol). All they did for me was make my hair bigger then it is, naturally, lol. You look gorgeous though, stick to it, it's obviously working 4 u.

  • This video is so great. Your hair looks amazing and it looks soooo easy to do! Bout to try my carusos for the first time tonite! yay )

    PS...You're so pretty! (No homo...lol)

  • Your hair came out amazing! The caruso steam rollers look like a good alternative to roller-setting.

  • gorgeous! and folks pay all this money at the salon for hair like this

  • omg! I read that you are 30. You don't look a day over 21. NO JOKE!!

  • This is great! Thanks!

  • i love you hair when you just blow dried it!!

    :)

  • I have a caruso roller set for years and only used it once. I really never learned how to used it. You videos are great. I learn to cut my hair following your directions. Thanks

  • Found a full set on craigslist for $7 bucks! It works perfectly...I love my caruso system! :)

  • it looks just amazing..IM GETTING THESE ROLLERS!!

  • aww youre hair looks so pretty at the end

  • Looks cute. Thanks for this video.

  • Your hair turned out so nice with a little shine to it. Did you use any oils or moisturizer in it before rolling it?

  • looking good girl i like the steam rollers i wanna try them

  • I use these! They work great on thick hair and the curl holds very well. Make sure you clean it regularly with vinegar as noted in the instructions! I just threw my third one away because it stopped working (I've been using this for years). I'm rockin a ponytail now because I need a new one :)

    You have beautiful hair!

  • Very nice!

  • Love it! Did you put any product in your hair prior to using the steam rollers?

  • Cute! Your hair has a nice retro look to it.

  • Im sorry but where do you get the caruso set? I never heard of it or I just never paid attention. But your hair looks great!

  • Sally Beauty Supply store carries it.

  • awesome! I already use these, and now I know how to use them with end papers.

  • cute =]]

  • Oh before I forget, Love your hair and I think I'm going to cut me a bang too cause my hair is the same length and yours looks sooo cute!!!

  • were did you get that hair comb from? And is it nessecary to use end paper for relaxed hair?

  • do u do your caruso roller set weekly b/c that came out awesome? i have your same hair type and i hate sitting under the dryer. i will be getting that caruso roller set soon... damn, wow-lmao...

  • that was very helpful, i rated u a 5 for that tutorial.

  • That's so pretty!!!! Wow!! I've always wanted my hair to look like this! I spent so much time teasing my hair and buying all these products, lol.

My mom got the Caruso Steam Rollers at a garage sale and I just typed it in and found this. I had no idea what it was. I was about to throw it out!!!!!!!

  • can you do it without the hairsetter and put wet hair in them and leave them in over night?

  • omg i love it

  • Thanks >>> You just confirmed it for me that I need to purchase one, Im sick of fryin my hair

  • Great results. I can't wait to try.

  • Very pretty....thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks pretty woman-thanks for taking the time to show us. You are bad ass

  • So I managed to get my hairsetter fixed and I tried it this morning on air dried hair and it didn't do a thing except make my hair more frizzy and dry! Do they only work on blow dried hair??

  • I recently bought one of these off ebay and it won't work, i'm so disappointed! It's not pink like this though, but all white. Gonna have to either see if anyone can fix it or send it back :(

  • That's super pretty :D

  • the end paper, you can't just use regular paper or like tissue paper or something?

  • Oh my god. What a result! You're a complete doll.!!!

  • I think this is great, but you have to heat one roller at a time and I am looking for a set that heats them all at once with the stream.

  • i don't think you're gonna find one that steams them all at once because the curl is dependent upon how long you steam it for. If you plug it in and them steam all together then by the time you get to like the 4th roller it will have way too much steam in it and won't work. And if you unplug it after they all heat up then the steam in the rollers will evaporate before you put them on.

I'm willing to bet all steam rollers do them one by one. The regular hot rollers heat all at once.

  • Actually I found a couple of sets that have Dry, Mist and a treatment - I used to use one years ago and finally found some. Your hair is beautiful though. But what I used to have worked wonderfully and my hair still looked good the next day. Thank you for showing these though I was tempted.

  • This really really works i saw this vid and ran out and bought my own. i LOVE LOVE LOVE it! takes 10 mins, not even, to get good results. A def beauty must-have =)

  • Damn, that is pretty.

  • great results. I have really curly hair though and I don't know how it would react to STEAM. probably not the best idea for my texture because humidity is no joke!

  • yeah, but it evaporates, which sets the hair.

  • that's a great idea with the paper....i was always having problems keeping the ends in!!!

  • how did you get your hair to grow so long? mine grow fast and then it breaks I don't even use heat on it. And im mixed too with Indian so I don't understand why it breaks. please help me

  • jamakcanchica: when was your last trim?? you prob have split ends...

  • no I dont have split ends..I just have weak hair probably

  • then you need to do a protein treatment. but, if your hair keeps breaking off then there is no way for you to not have split ends. You also need to make sure you have a proper balance between protein and moisture in your hair. It sounds like you need some protein and a trim...

  • Ok that sounds like a good idea, could you please tell me how to do the protein treatment? Please and thank you.

  • ur pretty and ur hair too!

  • Just wanted to tell you thanks to you and this video i purchased a caruso set and LOVE IT! This is the only way my hair will hold curls all day since I hate using the hooded dryer! Thanks for this. OH yeah and the curl papers work wonders I put a little shea butter on the ends as well! Please do another tutorial LOL I just want to see it done again!

  • o my i love the results, how much did the Caruso Steam Rollers cost ?? thnx :)

  • your hair looks great did u get i from sallys??? i need one!!!

  • they have em at sallys

  • Question: Do you think that after using the caruso rollers that i can wrap it and have the same results with a wet set?

  • i dont know, i am not sure. it probably wont last as long

  • My caruso set just came in today!!! YEAH!!! I am so excited i will use mine this weekend, can't wait. I'll let you know how they came out!!!!

  • can u use these to do a wet set?

  • beautiful results!

  • this should totally be a Pin-up style tutorial! Great job all you need is some big false eyelashes, black eyeliner and some red lipstick. Super cute!

  • Your hair is so beautiful. I wonder.,.. do those caruso rollers come in a smaller size.

  • I love how this turned out on your hair girl! I can't find these in South Africa so a friend is sending me some from Florida. What products should I use with them for a luscious result like yours? Also, how long do they last?

  • i dont wear my hair down so i dont know how long it would last. i only wear it down for a day or 2

  • Wow, I want these rollers. And your hair is beautiful!

  • I live in engladn and have just done a search on where I can get these Caruso rollers from and sadly, I have no choice but to get them from the States (that is really expensive cause of postage).

So instead I have ordered these, Vidal Sassoon Hair Hydration Moisture Protection Steam Rollers, from amazon.

Can you tell me if you know whether these are any good?

    Ta

  • i dont know but if seems like they would as long as they are steam and not heat. i am not sure though

  • Hey luv, they are the same. A chick at LHCF says she even interchanges the rollers on the different steaming units. She has the Caruso, Vidal & Revlon ones.

When this recession dies down I'm getting the newer version of the Vidals (belly shaped rollers) in the transparent container.

  • you did this beautifully! I love it! i wonder if it work on natural hair.?

  • question: so is steam better for your hair? because im not applying any heat (curling irons, blow dry, straighteners) and my hair IS growing longer faster however i do want to style it so is steam the better way to go?

  • Comment removed

  • What happened to this video? I was going to try this today ....... =(

  • Fantastic

  • THANKS, YAS!I went online last week and order the Caruso hairsetter after watching your video. I recieved it yesterday and last night I tried it out on my natural hair---it worked! • naw. i am sorry, i think the steam would just make your hair revert but i am not sure

  • i just bought a caruso set (ebay)*smiles*...and i was wondering, how often can you use it? My hair is a nice length but its not as healthy as I would like it, so I'm trying to nurse it and I figured this could be something you could use on a regular basis...is it?

  • i only use it every once in a while but to be honest, i am not sure

  • My Caruso set is OLD SCHOOL! i think my mom got the set for me in 1990 - and it still is running strong

  • This is too fabulous!!! I am going to try this asap!!!
