This version IS cheated. As many people here have pointed out, the notes in the end go up, not down. Sarah's arranger changed it to avoid doing the high notes. Not good! And doesn't do anything good for Sarah's image, either. Just observe this rule: If one has to cheat to be able to sing a song, just don't sing it!

Keep in mind, you guys, that it isn't always the singer's decision how the song is arranged. often they would like it a different way but their manager/ instructor/ whoever won't let them

Well, Sarah should be embarassed that 9-year old Kristiana Sunga (also here on youtube) is actually able to sing the song without having to cheat on the high notes! (The first of the last three "the light of a million mornings" should NOT have the attached phrase "has dawned" - only the second and third "the light of a million mornings" have that phrase.) Sarah cheated by adding the phrase after the first one, transitioning to the lower key in the process from that point.

I love her voice and I know she's talented, which is why I'm so DISAPPOINTED by this arrangement. I hope she re-records this and shows everyone that she can sing the correct high notes and proves to her detractors that she can do it without cheating!

Sarah's rendition is nice and heartfelt, but her arrangement is cheated. For the correct version, listen to Sandi Patty's version (you can also check out Regine's, who made the notes higher during the second-to-the-last line of the song -- but she stuck to the correct version). Gian Barbarona used Sarah's incorrect version during the contest, which was very disappointing.
