  • Hold em cowboy, Great job

  • The last landing he really had to fight it down. Looks like cross wind from the right. Can you tell me the wind speed on the last landing?

  • @yahweh18 Wind had 23 Knots, you can hear that from the Tower at 6:44

  • @yahweh18 they say 23knots crosswind comming from 100 since they're landing on runway 04L it's a cross wind component of about 60 degrees

  • the captain looks very young. . .

  • Man, the whole MD-80 series is just amazing! They're still used by so many airlines in the world!!

  • @dave4shmups Number built 1,191

  • nice to see a young captain thats HUMBLE! not easy be a young captain & HUMBLE!

  • Cool video. Like it.

    Captain look very young.

  • great one, very funny when yu turn on "CC" ;)

  • WoW that last landing, he had a hell of a crosswind to deal with. He did a great job.

  • It's in Nice (LFMN), France, the "Riviera" approach

  • Hahaha, yeah! the last landing :D it was awesome xDD!!! I don't see pilots landing on the right or left lane so often xD

  • The captain is very cute...and a pro pilot.

  • @rmoore87 hey thanks ;)

  • very nice landing at the end. great job!!!

  • very nice video...that captain is very cute also

  • nice!!! i love it, excelent!!

  • Whoa, that was a good save! If my eyes are reading correcting, that was a landing on RWY 04L, meaning the wind was coming from 60 degrees to the right at 25kts!! Man O Man!! That amount of drift and un-balanced landing called for a go-around. good job, (C)aptain

  • wow, that final landing on final was a workout!

  • Yay! My favorite plane! Thank you, thank you, thank you Just Planes!

  • Respect to the Captain for that last landing.

  • Wow... last landing was amazing... very good job. 23kt crosswind!

  • Looks like they've done it again, another quality video from just planes.....

Keep up the good work guys!!!

  • I echo that sentiment!! And it's great to see the MD-80 series still flying. I think it will be a looong time before the very last one exits commercial service.

Regarding the landing at the end, if you watch the CRJ-900 Pluna DVD, it looks like the same type of thing is going on-thermals, I think.

  • what a fun landing

  • Nice bounce! =]

  • he did it.

    nice cross wind..

  • wow one handed landing at the end, and i see the aircraft in real life isn't that responsive because he moves the yoke everywhere and the plane dosent even move

  • LOVE the MD-80. It's so elegant in the sky. Like an egret. It will be sad when it's gone.

  • Wow, that was a rough landing at the end. He worked it a lot, and was way off centerline. Must have been some turbulent conditions to rock an airplane of that size as much as it did. Great video!

  • 21kt x-wind aint a joke

  • Very nice video, I love the MD-80 and I will buy this video very soon ! High quality, job well done ! Justplanes videos are always 5 star !

  • 7:00 he's really 'fighting' the controls.
