Was Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World supposed to be somewhat of a higher-tech version of this ride? Because after watching multiple videos of this ride and riding Everest multiple times, it sure does seem that way :)

for those that worry if it's scary, it's really easygoing on a scale easy medium and hard it'd be around the middle of medium and easy but a lot more to the easy. it's slow too and it's kinda a relaxing ride to start off your day at disneyland. and you can feel the wind in your hair lolol

This makes matterhorn seem so slow, my ride I think they overrid it because I felt up to 1.5 G's of force on me and the ride wasn't 2 minutes, it was 50 seconds (phone timer)

@ThE805JoKeR When me and my gf went to disneyland (her 2nd time and mine 80th time) we went on thunder mountain and were in the very front. Behind us were this girl and some other kid and going up the 1st lift the girl was screaming so loud she plugged my ear.

OMG this ride is amazing. i always go on the left line of matterhorn because the right is slower but longer and the left is faster but shorter. so worth it. and idk but i always get freaked from that stupid abominable snowman! hahahah but he is half the fun of that ride!! and at night the line always goes by faster! i love it so much! one of my faves!!

hahaha last year there was literally no line at like 8 pm and the where I was, there was a sign where the line would have started (all the way back there) and there was a sign saying how many minutes there were to wait in line. I found out how it works (there is a wheel inside the sign you have to rotate) and I changed it to 180 minutes wait in line. Even though there was absolutely nobody in line, It still scared people away from the line! I was the only one on my bobsled! lol

I love this ride soooo much... but i really like it when they release the two cars simultaneously sooo it seems like you're racing... but they never do that only once when i rode it (i think it was accidental or a coincidence) where the two cars are released at the same time... it soooo much more fun bc you see the other car being sooo close to you... haha... but it's a classic ride nonetheless... pays to be a season passholder... and to know a lot of people who work there...

That ride rocks, thank god for Disnayland building rollercoasters in enclosed spaces and putting animatronics on it to make the environment feel part of the ride...unlike shitty Magic Mountain with there open wide coasters...
