@Matthew235689 thanks. i prefer uploading covers, because there's more scope to make them unique, and with classical music there is hardly anything you can change, so there doesnt seem much point me uploading a classical piece because a concert pianist would play it better. i might upload one though cos i think it sounds better when it's played slower. also i might upload some pieces i've made up when i get around to it.

But what I would REALLY love is if you could give me the notes you play so I can have a go at covering your cover. Obviously not the improv bit, but it would be helpful if you could (even if only in plain text) tell me the notes/chords you play for the right hand for all the way through. And the main left hand melodies. No need to include any repeat sections, as I can hear them for myself!!

Why do you call this Lupe cover when it's far older than you? Day dream is recorded first in 1968, from a belgian band called Wallace Collection.

I acknowledged everyone I know that had anything to do with this song in the description. I called it a Lupe Fiasco cover in the title because I was covering his version of the song, not the Wallace Collection's version, or anyone else's version. The Wallace Collection version and the Lupe Fiasco version sound drastically different, if I had covered the Wallace Collection version this cover would have turned out differently.

Yeah I 'wrote' it; I heard the Lupe Fiasco version and loved it, so I decided to adapt it for piano. I slowed it down, cut out one verse, and improvised over the rapping parts. With covers, I think it's important to make it your own, otherwise you may as well just listen to the original.
