the first time i heard the kora was toumani's elyne road on the radio. I thought it was a guitar duet and it was one of the first times i can remember being moved to tears by music. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL

It didn't come to tears...but it just happened to me. I was driving on the highway, at night, shuffling radio when I heard Elyne Road.

The boring drive became a voyage with nostalgic lights in the distance. I felt "humbleness", and everything suddenly seemed so calm.
