@NovelSquid idk what kind of hockey you play, if you even play at all, but the PUCK must be the first thing into the zone (obviously the defending team can be). a player cant pull the puck into the zone if he is offsides. thats been the rule as long as hockey has been around. the only rule change on offsides is the switch to touch-up.

@stephenyesavage idk novelsquid has a tiny point if u have possession right at the blue line and u go backwards into the offensive zone(ass first then puck) it wont be offsides unless u have 2 refs that have no idea what they are doing and same goes for when u have one foot over the blue line and they call u offsides.
