Whoever said that miku was magical, yeah thats true. But before you say she's perfect, try actually working with the software. Getting her to sound the way you want her to can be a PAIN IN THE ASS sometimes. Not to mention the general annoyance of computers in general.

@bleachangel8 There is a way to replace the japanese .dll file in such a way that your menus will change to English... mostly. Still, you're better off with a working knowledge of the japanese Katakana alphabet, at least. CRYPTON may actually have a better solution by now, you'd have to talk to them. Plus there's only 2 (one official, one fan-made) VOCALOID that are designed to speak English, as well.

@bleachangel8 While in the 'Program Files' folder for Vocaloid, do a search for 'Japanese'. Delete any of the files that come up, and the User Interface will be english. Errors and Popups will still be gibberish, but there's another fix for that. It requires installation of Prima, however. If you like, I can link you to the thread on Hongfire that has the download links and installation instructions.

TV Tropes calls it the "animation age ghetto", which refers to the assumption in certain countries that a show or piece of art is suitable, and only suitable, for children based on the use of the cartoon medium and not the actual content. Vocaloid is a voice program. You can buy it and use it to make music with the voice of one of the vocaloid mascots like Miku or Rin and Len. The only thing Lucky Star has to do with Vocaloid is they referenced it in the OVA where Konata forces Kagami to cosplay as miku. Wikipedia explains Vocaloid pretty accurately and more thoroughly than I can if you just look up Hatsune Miku. Hope that helps ^-^

the song was originally sung by Tsukasa I think from lucky star, later spawning a Hatsune Miku version (this one). Tsukasa gave it notoriaty I belive before this was made. Don't take my word for it though, I could be wrong
