To all: In the near future I will record an update of this video, cause in the meantime a lot has changed, and the video will be in a better quality ;-) Stay tuned!
Great video and thanks for sharing! People are so rude saying things like next time use better quality? Why not be thankful for the free lesson? You people are so ungrateful some of you! You know who you are! Just remember common courtesy goes along way! Just remember he took time out of his busy schedule to share this wealth of knowledge with us. Try to show a little more appreciation. If you don't like what he posted or feel you can do a better video than do it! Peace!
When you play the unprocessed loop in the beginning, the peaks are a few decibels under zero. Next time normalize the track first so peaks are at digital zero. Then we will be able to better hear the before and after difference.
Also. Starting with an electronic loop like that is confusing. For example, a sample kick drum used in a loop was sampled from a finished master recording, and does not need anything done to it.
@MurphyProductions87 Yes sure, you can use this kind of chain on a lot of styles, yours included. Yes I do mixing/mastering services. Please go to my website (link under the video) and just email me about this ;-) Thanks.
Hi DjMartijnKuilema I really have learned from YOur video thank You for that. What would You change in this chain for hip hop music? should I put less bass on EQ?
@grzankomuzykant: To be honest I don't have any experience with HipHop, but I can imagine that the settings aren't that different from Dance music. Maybe HipHop has more lowend bass then Dance, below the 50Hz, so indeed the EQ settings can be different. And also these are main settings which normally need to be tweaked a little for each track. Good luck!
@rainbowbowserpow9999 I must say.. I agree. But nobody has the guts to be the first to release a song which is quiter (with more dynamics) then the rest. And this I can understand.
Really, what you did was only mix correctly. After this, then you would add the final compression, EQ and reverb. But this requires a higher quality that was is available on the digital realm. This is first fed into a tape machine, which makes it bigger, then through the effect, then onto tape again, Then back to digital. 20,000 rolls of mastering tape is *still* sold each year. There is a reason for this. Tape is still the state of the art, and dont forget it.

WOW COOL CHAIN BRO!!! never seen your chain in particular.. thanks for all your hard work!!
Also, the track your using really has no bass (or is it just poor audio quality i'm hearing?). If so, is that why you didn't compress the low end on your multiband? Again thanks for your work bro!!
@pussyfresher Hi, The Oxford Dynamics is only used to give your music a little more warmth. Maybe you can search for a free warmer-making vst on the KVR site.
Great video very helpfull. What are good vst's for tech-trance music? Could you tell me an opinion about the plugins below: TrackPlug 5 wavearts(dot)com DCompressor II fluxhome (dot)com TB EZCompressor toneboosters (dot) com TBK 1 filter ,MaxLimit sonalksis (dot) com For what type of plugin there should be spend the most money? What's the best way to test plugins for certain type of music? those kind of like ikmultimedia nomadfactory (dot) com ursplugins (dot)com Please reply.

Same can be said for some synth sounds.
