Excellently cast! Raimondi is an exceptional Escamillo, Domingo a fabulous Don Jose, and saucy Migenes-Johnson nailed the title role. This movie is one of my favorite Carmen productions.
This film looks great. I don't like Migenes Johnson's vocal performance as Carmen but I do like her acting as Carmen. Raimondi makes a devilishly handsome Escamillo. Domingo was born to sing Don Jose. A great film but the Carmen could have been better.
The One and only Carmen. Bravo!
