Just to clear up peoples ideas. Revan was captured -> Killed Malak -> Disappeared to find the Sith Empire -> KoTOR 2 takes place -> This is AFTER, but thousands of years BEFORE the movies. Hope that clarifys.

As for Revan, I believe he is back, and your playable character, but.. that is assumption. But following BioWare's current trend of Mass Effect and Dragon Age, it can be assumed with great possibilty, that a character with the ability to lead will be the playable one. So..there you go.

Is this sith empire the SAME sith empire Malak and Revan found out in deep space when they turned? Cuz it says that a few hundred years after the death of malak that the Sith empire "returned" from deep space...so since the empire was so far out in deep space, it must of been the same one that Revan and Malak ran into before returning as Sith.

Statement: Yes. The Sith was the threat. That's why he went in search of the Star Forge. To secure the Republic against the Sith. That is also why he never conquered or even bothered with Onderon. It was a major part of the supply line. With the infinite fleet, the Sith empire wouldn't have stood a chance.
