There are established "legal" brothels such as we have here in Australia where women will "choose" to work to pay their way through university or for some other financial reason and then there are those for whom are taken or lied to about leaving a nation on the premise that will be taken care of when they arrive after trying to escape and oppressed system only to find that they end up as sex slaves for which there will be repercussions if they leave.

@blade004 I just saw a program on CNN yesterday about human trafficking and yes at times they were being forced to some extent to sell a sexual service but those women said in an interview that they often went home but then returned back to the pimp from their own choice knowing in advance they'll be selling sex again when they could of called the police.
