Caroni is the name of the sugar cane company in Trinidad. Since the time of indian indenture-ship it was in exsistance. This is a trini song cos only a trini wud know dat. Caroni is also a Village in Trinidad.

I am from Guyana and trust me you can rest assure this is not a Guyanese song. It's by Adesh Samaroo who is Trinidadian. Plus I don't know what a caroni is niether do I think anyone in Guyana knows what exactly it means. If anyone would like to shead light on the meaning it would be helpful. I am from East Coast Demerrara and i've never heard the term Caroni. So out of pure curiousity can someone tell me what it means, it is hinidi? I don't think it is but let me know.
