  • I have thought of trying stop motion but my love of drawing had me do hand drawn animation instead. Nice how you had the wings move! I just uploaded my How to make ORIGAMI WINGED DRAGON parts 1 to 6 to you tube. Its a little rough but good! Viewers watching this might like to watch my hand drawn animated video I made called THE MAGIC ARROWS which has a winged dragon as well as other fantasy creatures and thousands of drawings! This is a nice combination of stop motion and origami!

  • @jonhayashi1 Awww thanks! Was fun to make! This was a once off stop mo, but I would definately recommend giving it a go!! its a nice change doing something a little more hands on :D

I checked out your origami winged dragon, tis awesome man! The Magic Arrows is pretty cool too, give you total props there drawing it all by hand!!! How many fps is it? I'm going to be attempting hand drawin 2-D soon so if theres any advice you could give a first timer that would be awesome :D

  • @hayzer2 I am glad you took a look at my 2002 animation, THE MAGIC ARROWS. BALDER'S EGG made in 2007 is the newest one. My animation is 24 frames a second and my drawings were recorded with a time lapse vcr. The character animation has 12 drawings per second on twos while effects were shot on threes. Now there is video lunchbox for animation. Both cost 3000 dollars. I know thats high but I don't have to deal with the weird glitches and menus of computers! Thanks for the praise!

  • very nice!
