There r tons of videos out there about getting data for iPhone on go phone and I have done them all!! The plain truth is NONE of them work... Consistently. I have the APN changer and it does give u 3G but it just isn't strong or consistent enough I finally bit the bullet and got a plan because I had a iPhone I avoided a 2 year contract so I'm paying like 65 bucks so this is the bottom line.

This works! I have an unlocked iPhone 4g from Australia. Make sure you get a new simcard from the at&t store that is suitable for iphone 4 but just tell them your using it for calls only! :) THANK U

@iZbooo I saw on the forum that someone said "Ahh! Finally I found out the problem. By some reason, AT&T know how to distinguish between a smartphone and a non-smartphone. Data is included for non-smartphone. What I did was: 1. Pay $5 for the 10MB datapackage for testing 2. Changed APN for AT&T So now 3G-surfing works perfectly. Just add a Datapackage to the $50 Unlimitedpackage, and your iPhone 4 will work perfectly." So I guess you have to add a data plan ontop of your plan for it to work.

Kick ass, it seems like if you have a VERY old gophone account its free!!!! Just ran the map app, email app, and speedtest app on it. ITS ALL FREE!!! Although on the 2g its slow as hell. 12KBS Down 1KBS UP. But its perfect for textfree and email!!! Thanks man!

This DOES work... I just ran across this and it is actualy L-E-G-I-T. Only thing is I dont think you can download apps/browse the app store fully on just the 20MB, it says its too big (over 200MB).. so it says to connect to wifi to fully see the app store. This works fine. If you're on AT&T you need a data plan first or any money you have in your refill account will be gone. Then you can change the APN setting. Remember to power your phone off and turn it back on again after the install. Or else you will still get that internet error message. Turn off your wi-fi, and open Safari. It will then let you surf the web using 3g.

It still works. I did it yesterday for my iPhone 3Gs (2 year contract over) with gophone sim and it worked fine. The only thing you have to be careful about, is the fact you need to add a data plan (19.99 /100mb) because if not, your account will be drained out if you use the internet without a data plan. Yesterday I was charged with 8 dlls. for using the internet (GPRS) for about 7 mins. and 700kb received, so be wise and buy a data plan after applying this.
