  • That's awesome

  • Nice!

  • dude you just added soooo much weight

  • now u can start ur tmax and let the windsheild defrost

  • u are from clombia i can hear the news =)

  • Thats cool. Curious on how many volts are actually needed to turn the motor over. If a smaller battery would work. Thinking

  • this is the most factory looking self start system i have ever seen. i think traxxas will study this video.

  • my bro did that in such a simpler way

  • I am going to have to try this with my t maxx. i have been lookin for a fun project to do to it, with the goal of adding remote start. thank you for putting this up. can you give me any more information, or wiring diagrams for it?

  • thumbs up if you read the box wen he set the camera down

  • no top comments *HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY*

  • That's very impressive bro"

I got to do min like that

  • Stop watching "primer impacto" cuz it distracted me

  • @brodiemcivor cant be that small if you on it all the time

  • hefty hefty hefty hefty wimpy wimpy wimpy

  • do i need a hefty bag box or can i use glad :) nice job very clean i like it.

  • damn thats clever

  • Hefty Hefty Hefty!

  • building mine right now down to the basement now

  • nice bro

  • awesome i otta do that to mine.

  • " HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY"

  • thats super cool i going to attempt that soon

  • That... is genius.

  • That's awesome but it would add a lot of weight I'll try it with my bad truck

  • It must be heavy as hell with that setup.

  • that will slow it down so much and it will add more wight on one side

and there was all ready a slight tilt on that side in the first place

  • Thanks to you I did mine, thank you for this video I did a vid on mine to

  • LMAO WOW FAIL.. U REALY WANA RUN A NITRO REVO WITH THAT HUGE BATTERY PACK ON IT LOL JUST GET A LIPO REVO THEM

  • Ok I know to some people this will be a stupid question but did the involve any soldering???

  • Pretty innovative idea ya got there, if only they could find a way to make the starter smaller or if someone could figure out how to get the starter to run off of the T-Maxx's battery. I think I might do this with my revo

  • What about taking an electronic speed control and finding the positive and negative wire from the easy start plaug, and connecting the positive and negative from the speed control to the 2 easy start harness wire that go right to the electric start motor....and then powering the speed control with a small lipo battery and plugging the speed control into an 3 channel or 4 channel reciver and hitting a switch on the controller sending power to the electric start motor witch will start the engine

  • why the white tie-wraps on the top of the engine?

  • HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY!!!!!111

  • thats pretty sweet!!!! im pretty sure the other people bitching are just fat and lazy and are jealous of your great ideas! haha

  • I think it's clever but i bet that adds a shit load of weight

  • Also to the poster, how would you know how it holds up? You've obviously never driven that truck let alone run the engine.

  • If your engine dies that often you need to add a remote starter you need to learn how to tune your damn engine. Running an Ofna Hyper .21 3 port on my T-Maxx years back I could run for 30+ minutes without needing to restart.

  • Its a good idea. But all that extra weight as mentioned before would drastically reduce Tmaxx topspeed from 45mph to about 30mph.Thinking about it not really so much of a good idea.

  • this adds alot of extra weight, and the tmaxx 3.3 already has 3 servo's being used due to it haveing reverse. it looks good but thats allot of extra weight, you should have used a 9.6volt pack from a nikko r/c

  • stinky stinky stinky stinky HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY nice but it looks like to much stuff their

  • what about going threw water?...

  • I think its a pice of shit. Lol nooo JKk verrry nice job dude, very smart, great clean cut all around wiring job and mounting. Excellent shit man great idea, have fun! 5*

  • nice job looks nice and clean

  • 0:29 steel sak

  • Got to check out my video on the ROSS System. Can't even tell I got a Remote start on mine. I even still have reverse and all the other channels. If you want your truck to still look stock... Check Out My Video... Hope this helps.

  • hmmm...now that's what traxxas needs to come up with next...an on board starter running off a small lipo battery or something lol

  • Friking awesome

  • Ok faggot nice 4king mods.

  • awesome! great idea!

  • wow.. thats really a nice clean way of doing it, rather than some other guys who hack it all in there..lol.. u did a really good job considering that it still has the factory plug...good work. keep it up.

  • hey that is a great idea wow...

  • Free advert mmmmm HEFTY ARE THE BAGS HA HA HA

  • very cool

  • nice my tmaxx hasnt run in like 2 years and i was cleaning and i saw my tmaxx 3.3 book and it instantly got me back into it i think im just gonna buy a whole new engine just so it will run good because i but like 5 gallons through it in the first year of owning it i got it maby in 2007

  • @joeldude76 that's is exactly how i got back into the hobby! i just found my model stampede parts and my old booklet and i got that feeling man i knew i wanted to get back into the hobby

  • Hefty, Hefty, Hefty!!!!!

  • Hey berto123078, excellent enginuity, and creativity. Your video is one of the first remote start setups I even saw on youtube. Did you know that there is an easyier, and much lighter way to do remote start now? Check out "Ross on a Revo" - Right here on YouTube...

  • Really nice work budy!!!

Could you show or explain how to set up the remote!

    Thank you

  • @Arnol24George Check out "Ross on a Revo" right here on youtube.

  • Nice remote start. I got about 10% more hp from pulling off the stock airfilter and installing a KN style one from Autozone. If you would like more info please email me at cheesehead721998@yahoo.com Now it does crazy whelleys.

  • Dude that is wicked

  • COOOOLLLL!!!

  • Good creativity dude. send it to traxxas so they can see ya work.

  • too much w8 for jumping and that isnt made for that much impackt

  • thats the coolest thing iv seen on youtube

  • wow thats very smart! good on ya

  • Cool idea but totally unnecessary and makes for more shit to go wrong when bashing.

  • nice job ..

  • Great video I did my remote start the same way it works great thx for the help I can still use my factory start and remote start. But couldnt find any heat shrink so I used electrical tape and Instead of cutting holes i used some sticky velcrow strips and put it on the easy starter, the battery box, and the servo bottom and top to hold everything down really good. This is best way to start a rc car!

  • where you from?

  • mate that is flipping wicked, great idea.

  • thats sweet dude send this vid to traxxas and the new maxx might come stock like that lol

  • cool and smart

  • fuck yes man

  • i think i might do that but put the battery at the back so its more back heavey and dont effect it too much... or at the front to balance it out because mine allways tryes to do a backflip

  • Kinda adds a little bit of weight don't ya think ? You do know that they have a new 'remote start' out fot the Traxxas vehicles don't you ? They showed it on R/C Car Action's(AirAgeMedia1) channel from the RCX Expo this year. ;-)

  • nice shyt dude....can u put that on a jato 3.3???

  • wow thats dope

  • cooooooooooooooooool

  • Very nice idea, but I cant afford to lose my reverse.

  • Comment removed

  • hefty hefty hefty!!!

  • that would make it alot heavier and off balanced.

  • Wow sweet I need to do that on my revo

  • Slick idea! I have the means to do that, but I'm not sure if I could give up my reverse. Anyway, for anyone interested eBay would be a great source for parts- used [and/or new] wiring harnesses, EZ start modules, etc. Anyway, neat to see how you went about doing that, it's very neat and clean without being complex. Good work

  • and which shop you bought it

  • and which shop you bought it

  • my t-maxx hasnt looked that clean since i got it about 2 weeks ago

  • Ook now I see it. Very nice and neat set up u have

  • thanks for the comment.. but for me it's plenty fast enough don't need it to go 100 mph++++++ i haven't notice it any slower at all but it works great when ever it turns off just hit the switch and of i go :)

  • @berto123078

Very good idea! i am doing that tomorrow!!!.. Shit matter of fact... let me go in the garage right now!! LOL

  • nice idea. but now your truck is heavier!

  • isint it heavy

  • much was the t-maxx

  • 460

  • nice

  • teboo i'll make a video of it starting this weekend it's been kinda cold over here in nc

  • @berto123078 you live in north carolina?

  • would have been nice to see you actually start it

  • good job man

  • sponsored by hefty!

  • good one

  • cool, but way to complicated for me :)

  • i don't need this truck to do 100 mph so having this pack doesn't affect how fast it goes will not to me it's plenty fast enough with this setup. and as to being lazy i don't really wanna spend my time going after the car and starting it every time it shuts off i rather hit a button and keep going thanks for your input

  • Come on are you really that lazy? Them 6 cells are heavy too!!

  • lmao steel sak at 2:18

  • i thought the same thing

  • good thinkin man just bought a tmax 2.5 for $75 and runs great about to use ur idea looks simple and easy

  • wonder if a 1600 mini-t pack will do the same thing??

  • you sound like wilmer valderama lol

  • lulz he does

  • dude that is awsome man it really it clever to im going to copy u a little im going to do it just a little different but im going to copy u hope u dont mind very cool nice vid

  • wow that sweet can you tell me what you did cuz i want to that too so i was wondering if you could help me by telling me how to do it

  • thanks for the comment nitrorc4life but y buy another ez start if it already came with 1 i know it's smaller but then you'll be spending money on to make it remote start y not use what u have and just spend 5 bucks for the harness. the harness was used so the factory harness don't get cut when u want to remove the ezstart just unplug it :) i didn't feel like spending money on another ez start and battery i do and make with what i have it's cheaper lol

  • HEFTY HEFTY HEFTY LOL COOL CAR MAN

  • well i just wanna say that this is sweet, but get an ez start 1 bc right now you have the ez start 2.. the nuumber 1 is just a small black peice that a batt straps to... instead of a huge casing around the batt.. also intead of buyina another wire harness, you shouldve take the stock one, cut the wires, soldered in more wire to extend it, then put on some heat shrink so you dont have such a mess.. JMO still looks sweet!!!! I might try it on my revo!!!

  • hey can u guys give me some ideas as too make a muffler extension so the side of the truck and right rear suspension don't get dirty from runing it any ideas is more then welcome thanks

  • Thats cool. But it definitely will add weight. You will still pull wheelies all day long like you say. It adds weight so it might help to pull wheelies! but thats is really cool man i never had a remote start on my tmaxx. as u know i no longer have it but i miss it dearly...

  • not that i notice i still pull wheelies all the way down the street :) i open the ezstart up and use clear sylecone sealer on the electronic board for water proffing some what :) but no change on performance at all

  • Nice idea! But does the weight of the EZ-Start effect the performance of the truck much?

  • wow people only 1 comment i'm sad :( please leave me a comment on what u think on this setup thanks

  • Good job, neat wiring too.
