  • Shame United and Continental have merged - and keeping the Continental livery - surely the UA livery is better!

  • @knaphilllee I totally agree, I am really saddened that UA would take Continental's livery, United is a larger and stronger airline. Im for the merger but dont like CL's livery at all

  • where are you when the plane took off is this o hare

  • Very Nice!

  • Very nice. I wonder how the restrictions work for an aircraft using one runway and another using a crossing runway. I heard at JFK recently that one aircraft was landing and another one was taking off on a crossing runway and they almost collided. It happened 2 times in a week span.

  • That's about right for a 737 takeoff speed

  • it didn't take too long for him to get airborne.

  • oh wait...you said FOR DTW. lol im sorry, i thought you said FROM DTW. lol

    my bad...lol

  • No problem, Yeah this was ORD 4L at ORD and we landed 4R at DTW. I live south of DTW so I do a good part of my flying from there.

  • feild* and "that was deff NOT Detroit Metro" **

  • thats not DTW. if you were on 4L, you would have been looking out the window to the west. theres a large hill and filed...not a bunch of buildings and stuff, believe me, id know because i live here. that was deff NOT 4L.

  • Ah you've got to love those distinct CFM56 sounds. United 737 rides are fun. :)

  • Love the 737-300 flaps you can hear the wennding noise.

  • I like the ones on the 737-800 better.

in fact United should be flying 737-800s in addition to their a320s

  • This is a what? 737-200 or 300?

  • -300

  • I'd rather they don't have A320s

  • @halo2windows theyve got a319 to. and i dont really like airbus either, ill be makin sure i hop on swa or alaska now

  • Nice clear video...great sound...I think this is a 757 though....

  • the 757 is 2 high of the ground

  • Many warmly thanks again for your answer!!

  • Do you flown with a 737-300 or a 737-500?

  • It was a 300.

  • 737s a light twin it doesnt take it long to climb like a 757 or bigger

  • The airplane had probably already reached speeds that the flaps were no longer needed.

  • They roll up the flap that early after T/O?

  • bad cough ;). nice video!

  • Yeah unfortunately the guy next to me was hacking away through this flight.

  • This is a 737 right?

  • Yep it sure is
