I agree the vocals of the background singers could be better, it seemed like she wasn't singing like herself, like she was just trying to sound like Reba (who wouldn't want to?) but at the same time

A) your standing inches away from the most awesome person in the world

B) you're standing in font of thousands of people.

Must be nerve racking.

I think that Carmella Ramsey did an excellent job. If Reba didn't think so too she wouldn't be there.

I honestly think the background singer takes away from Reba's voice. While I understand why she has the background singer - kind of to give the illusion that she's hitting higher notes - it's really not necessary. Reba was born to sing! She has perfect vocals, doesn't stuggle (or doesn't seem to, lol) on her songs, and is perfectly comfortable on stage. This performance is great, I love her dance and the way she can add syllables, but the background singer shouldn't be there. hehe
