Since always, 4 stroke's you don't even have to use the brake because of the engine's compression. Let off the throttle and the engine brakes for you. But not on a 2-stroke, give it a try sometime..
125s you minght wanna try a clutch wheelie they wear your cluch out but the feeling of going up as quik as that is amazing i have a 125 my self and have just had a new cluch put in and are looking to upgrade to a 250
Lots of people flat shift which is just letting off the gas and shifting without the clutch but I don't like to do that to my transmission. I usually just find the balance point and shift there because you can just float you don't need the throttle to hold it up then I ease the clutch back out in the next gear
yah not using the clutch is a good way to fuck you tranny lol. some guys try and tell me it dosent hurt it but then whats the point in having a clutch right?

quite a few people in racing don't use the clutch, flat shifting isn't all as bad as people think.
when u take off the throttle, it creates slack in the gearbox causing minimal wear. You can also gear down without a clutch, but isn't as easy.
