wow I did perfect on my parralell park but I forgot to "look" at my blindspot. Also rember to exagerate those looks cause they will take points off for not "looking"

Parallel parking is probably the hardest on the road test... everything else is easy.

If you park like this in Belgium you fail :s . what instructors here would say is that you may not stop while parking, you have to do it in one flowing motion. also you may not drive that far back. you have to stay verry close to the car in front of you. pff I hate it.. stupid country of mine, alsways making things so difficult

I have my test next vriday, I'm all nerves because I still can't park propperly, I asked some tricks to my instructor and he only had this to say: no tricks you just have to feel it. and no I'm not kidding

@karlkani231107 i take mine this month and i am really really nervous... did you pass? oh and here in cali they dont make you parallel park on your behind the wheel test which is a huge relief :)

@loveposey28 yes I passed. it was pretty close though. In Belgium sometimes the green lights from the traffic lights are replaced with a yellow blinking light (because it's a dangerous place or something) and if you're paying attention to the traffic it's hard to see when the light turns yellow, I almost went true. but the parking went perfectly. I practiced A LOT. but I'm curious if you don't do parrallel perking on you behind the wheel test, than when do you do that?

@karlkani231107 i have no idea. they just dont make it a requirement on the california driving test. its weird because in a lot of other states they do. i guess they just expect the driver to learn to do it before they put themselves in situations where they need to parallel park... i should practice anyways.

Are you allowed to put your right hand behind The passengers seat if needed? Or do both hands need to be on The steering wheel?

Well some places that do driving tests (DPS offices, Driving school, and such) give even a bigger gap for parallel parking test. My DPS office give a pretty big one as well.

But yeah in reality you would most likely hit the car behind.

well what do you know this video is posted on the same day i pass my road test parallel parking was the thing i feared the most because why it is somewhat simple it can be very easy to get confuse if you do not do one step right that is why it is important to pay attention to details parallel parking can be detail oriented
