@dylvasey No nothing like Ella, she was totally unique, voice much deeper, if u want to get close to grass roots, listen to Fantasia Burrino singing "Summertime" to slightly resemble the talent Corrine has who was the. Winner x factor usa 2004 i think.

@nykola1234 I didnt say she sounded like Ella, I mean she has a rare voice like Ella Fitzgerald. I'm not so sure that new artists have the skill to portray an original track with such vocal emotion.

I think its easier to do a cover of a track when you have already heard the original artist sing it. but to write and then perform it for the first time and make it so the majority of people can relate not just to the lyrics, but to the emotion is a rare thing.
