@emilio46098 he is the leader of the team and i think part of it is he is trying to increase tak and keisuke's driving abilities in a Duel type of teamwork (my opinion for project D) as well as he is studying to be a doctor

@emilio46098 at the end of the first stage, before the race. Ryosuke, said he will be done with racing, if Takumi was to win. Which, Takumi did, but, ryosuke was still to help out in Project (D). Hope this helps -RN(4)
