Mother Teresa DID and she ministerd to the sick, dying, and poor for over FORTY FIVE years. She dedicated her life to it. I'm not God, but if I would have to take a guess, she would be WAY higher on his scale than that thief VenomFangX is.

Indulgence is not biblical... it says you can cancel your sins through prayer, act of charity, donation, etc... Even if no money is given, it is very very important to realize that God does not forgive us for something because we do an act of charity or recite the same prayer daily. No. We are forgiven because Jesus died in our place. He paid the full atonement... we trust in him for our atonement. We cannot make up our own atonement.
Confirmation is a sacrament. The Church believes that you must receive the sacraments in order to be a part of God's grace. This is not true. We can not work for grace - it is unmerited. Catholicism is false. I was a Catholic for many many years, and have found the true Jesus.

I think you need some factual corrections on Mother Teresa but that aside it is good to see a Christian publicly state not to support VFX (I happen to be an atheist). all that has happened is, they changed the definition of the word planet...
..under new definition, pluto comes under a sub catagory,. because it is so small, its moon is half its size, so it was demoted catagorically in definition.
They did not change what it is, its still a planet, just a dwarf planet because of its relative size to its moon, Charon.

(Well, it is, sort of, it's a "minor planet") Nothing about Pluto itself has changed, but recent discoveries made it necessary to come up with a clear, exact, unambiguous definition for the word "planet". It says in black in white that Mary is coRedeemer, and the council of trent will show you that the Pope decided that anyone who believes that we are saved through faith in Christ alone shall be accursed. Also look up indulgences. Is it ok for the church to collect money to get someone to heaven? I didn't realize salvation could be purchased..

Indulgence is not biblical... it says you can cancel your sins through prayer, act of charity, donation, etc... Even if no money is given, it is very very important to realize that God does not forgive us for something because we do an act of charity or recite the same prayer daily. No. We are forgiven because Jesus died in our place. He paid the full atonement... we trust in him for our atonement. We cannot make up our own atonement.

Ok, perhaps what they are verbally telling you and what is written in the catechism is two different things. You get closer to God through personal relationship, not by going to a church - of any kind. The Catholic Church is wrong because is refuses to accept that we are saved by faith in Jesus ALONE. Not only do they say you need to atone for sins in purgatory, but they continue to sacrifice Him through communion even though He has already paid the price for us.

I'm sorry, but I have to COMPLETELY disagree with you on the first one, going to church DOES bring you much closer to God - you don't NEED it, but it's good. and you don't NEED to go to purgatory, I think it's only when you have sinned, and then died before asking for forgiveness?? i mean, what happens then??? do you go striaght to hell??? that's what I was wondering about... and I was always confused about the communion...

I was a protestant that believed in purgatory, but now I am almost positive it does not exist.

This is not comparable to a televangelist in my opinion. He is spending one on one time with people, meeting them on the level they are at and showing them how to get to the next level and on their way to believing in Jesus. I have never seen a televangelist do that. Ever.

Honestly, so he lives in a mansion. So what? He doesn't OWN the mansion, his family does. He can't go sell the house to pocket money. That is just nuts to use his NONchristian family's house as a reason not to support him.
In addition to not having a job, he is paying for the materials that he is handing out to everyone.
He is probably spending HOURS out with these people - remember you are only seeing 10 min snippets.
This is the best use of a dollar. Seriously.

He is creating a new sub-type replete with all of the faults of the old type. He is a Tubevangelist. The Televangelist shakes down people of limited means and good heart to enable him to live in luxury, but to become a successful Televangelist takes years of toil and extreme dedication, VFX looks to circumvent this. Give the weasel credit, he has innovated and the ill fruits seem to be coming ripe for him.
