Man brother heard this tone a few months back, and it put me on a mission again saving up for this amp.just got one two days ago i love it .i didnt get the cab but i got a Vintage mesa loaded with 200 wt EV's to day im having the SD JB swapped for the bill Lawrence i should pretty much have these tone's ..I'm stoked ! thanks for posting the killer video's i enjoyed them all !!! im gonna use this little rig for our new album were set to be n the studio the next 6 weeks ( rock city columbus ohio)
That LP Custom sounds really BIG and FAT with BALLS. Amazing tone. I listened to this clip again (after a month) and now I notice that the guitar has a huge tone. Really love it. Sounds VERY much like the LP Custom (solo) from 'Tenacious D - Push', Almost 100% identical and that's a huge compliment.
I'm using amplified speakers. I'm not trying to be rude but it just sounds too mid-rangey (think bad 80's tone) and the notes don't stand alone clearly. The solos don't sing as they should with that guitar. It might be the settings because even the clean stuff sounds muddy.
JakeUSC92: you seem to get a good Black Sabbath type tone out of it...i think you would break it trying to play blues or jazz...oh well
Dude. Get a clue. Check out some of his other videos. He plays a wide variety of music through both the Modena and the Bonneville. Elmwood amps sound INCREDIBLE playing blues, rock, you name it.
The clean channel rocks on this. Using the gain boost on it, it has tons of personality. Grease it up with a good reverb, and OD pedal (Klon?) and you'd be right there.
maybe to play old ozzy ... am i the only one who never heard of that brand ? by the way that danelectro joke was really a hit below the belt lol , amazing
Bro, don't let these dishrags get to you. Great tone and good playing as well. It sounds good even thru cheap speakers. I like your videos great job and keep rocking.
And really man, don't listen to the other people on here. Half of them don't know what they are talking about. Don't let them get to you like CMG said.
Man.....love this tone.
I have an M90 coming in Tomorrow!
Cant wait to fire it up in Band practice!
Your videos sound great!!

Hey Mauricio!
Yeah D.A. and I are from the same "old School"...Metal Guys do look alike.
Went to your page, my friend...and you're starting to get "the look " as well!
Playing Gibson guitars will do that.
Playing Gibson guitars also allows you to date beautiful women too!
Fenders work well for that too.
Jimi thought so.
Thanks for the listen! AB

It's too muddy and doesn't sound thick IMO.

Really? Jeez...hmmm..well, OK.
What kind of speaker are you using for monitoring? A computer/laptop?
This demo actually sounds not too bad. But your comments have been noted! Thanks for the listen-AB

Sounds BAD ASS!! That metal-ish playing kinda brings back memories of the 80's Toyzz/Clockwork Andy I used to see at Mabel's way back when. ; )

Hey there!
I'm using a combination of microphones. A Shure SM57, a EV RE20, a Sennheiser 421, and an AKG 414 condenser for a room microphone.
Thanks for listening!
