I grew up in Trinidad (Trinidad & Tobago). This song was very popular there, and was a "standard" on the radio stations there at Chrstmas time. I never knew who sang it, but i remember it being on jukeboxes also (at Christmas time they changed some of the music to reflect the season). Lovely music, and thanks for the posting!.
Just heard this again on KRTH-101 in Los Angeles. CHRISTINA KELLY not only back-announced,but front-announced this song,as well! She said "it's the MOST-REQUESTED CHRISTMAS SONG" now!!
This 1958 Christmas song ranks up there with "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" and "Jingle Bell Rock". It should be a featured song every year when radio stations play great secular Christmas hits.
Ha I used to have a teddy bear that sang this song lmao I never knew what the second part said lmao
